Job Overview:

This position focuses on acquiring new logo accounts in a B2B target market through an aggressive sales approach. The ideal candidate understands needs, issues and strategies so an appropriate business product portfolio solution can be deployed for all small, mid-sized businesses. This position will report to the Manager, Inside Account Executive. Prior experience in telecommunication sales and demonstrated ability to uncover new business is preferred.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for meeting and/or exceeding assigned sales objectives and monthly revenue quotas, and building new revenue by selling telecommunications products and services to small and mid-market accounts.

  • Responsible for cold calling and prospecting over the phone, in a high activity sales model.

  • Manage sales funnel to analyze and manage pipeline activity and monitor sales activity against assigned quotas.

  • Must be self-motivated, self-disciplined and provide prompt follow-up to all customer inquiries.

  • Must be organized and maintain accurate records on daily activities and results.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education with typically 0-1 year experience.

  • Demonstrated ability to exceed Sales goals through outbound calling.

  • Strong oral and written communication, analytical and problem solving skills.

  • Aggressive follow-up and closing skills.

  • Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel), SalesForce and other software applications.

  • Ability to talk/negotiate with various levels of decision makers.

  • Ability to manage sales funnel.

  • Ability to multi-task with a sense of urgency in a dynamic and fast paced environment.

  • Active listening skills to identify sales opportunities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior Sales experience.

  • Experience with and knowledge of the customer base in the local market.

  • Demonstrated stable track record of success in Sales

  • Managed Services, Hosting and Security product knowledge.
