Under minimal supervision Coordinates, diagnoses and troubleshoots incoming employee calls or system generated service requests. Provides support services to employees with technical problems and information technology issues involving desktop, laptop, printer or network services by touch or network remote access. Provides timely resolution of problems or escalation on behalf of customer to appropriate technical personnel. Provides asset management updates. Provides case status updates to management and end-users. CAT5; 6 or Fiber cabling. Supports and maintains effective relationships with users. Recommends, documents, and implements standard operating procedures and service guidelines relating to touch or remote IT support. Assists team members to insure a stable operational customer environment that achieves the contracted service level agreements set up with the end-user teams. May perform planning functions. Support infrastructure including security, maintenance, and implementation of tools. Understand technical changes and advancements. Bachelor, Assoc. degree or equivalent education and experience. Min 7-9 years related experience in specific area or equivalent. May require technical certification.

  2. Works on unusually complex and sensitive problems. Provides stateof- the-art solutions that are highly creative. Uses independent judgment to accomplish objectives.

  4. Contributes to the development of organization’s goals and objectives. Failure to obtain results or erroneous judgments or recommendations would normally have serious results and may require substantial expenditure or resources to correct.

  5. Recognized as expert in field internally and externally. May serve as organization spokesperson on specialized projects or programs. Champions large projects that affect organizations long-term goals and objectives.

  6. Work as part of a close-knit team, encouraging the team ethic and the resulting synergy.

  7. Identify areas for improvement with a view to maintaining and enhancing the reliability, stability, integrity and security of computing systems.

  8. Recommended Certifications: A+, Net+, MTA, MCSE
