The Lead Analyst will primarily manage the CenturyLink internal JCW (Job Cost Workbook), our internal CPE quoting tool, which is an Excel-based workbook with multiple macros. This Analyst will be responsible for the day to day ongoing support, updates, and management of the tool, working in cross-functional teams with our CPE Sales Engineering, Oracle Catalog and Maintenance Renewals teams, to insure ongoing support for the new products rolled out by CPE Product Management, macros, and associated special use templates, APIs, etc. This individual will collaborate with peers on modifications to the tool to insure we are using best practices and ease of use for the Sales Engineering and Order Management communities.

Performs in an internal expert role
End to end management of the JCW workbook and all associated templates
Technical point of escalation for JCW problems and issues
Develop & maintain integration methodologies with CPE Catalog and proprietary CPE vendor quoting tools such as Cisco CCW, Avaya OneSource, etc.
Develop and support a change-management process for changes to the JCW, as well as any associated templates, output and reports
Work with CPE Sales Engineering & Process teams on training and support initiatives associated with JCW and vendor quoting tools.
Interface with vendor contacts to insure adherence to pricing, program and SKU changes
Manage projects associated with quoting tool upgrades, catalog integration, etc.
Consulting level professional with a full understanding of area of specialization.
6+ years related experience with Bachelors
4+ years related experience with Masters
Minimum 8+ years of experience with CPE & BOMs
Strong working knowledge of CPE vendor products and services from Cisco, Avaya, Adtran and others
Hands-on expertise with Excel, macro development & support
Excellent Visual Basic skills and hands on knowledge working with XML files
Experience with SQL and database management
Demonstrated problem solving and analytical skills, including qualitative and quantitative skills
Business acumen with understanding of margins and discounts
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including MS Access – Office 365 a plus
Knowledge of Oracle helpful
Good presentation and writing skills
Sales Engineering background would be helpful
