The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for understanding, monitoring, and synthesizing complex cost and key financial metrics for CTL business units. This position provides financial support to executive management to assist in decision making and performance tracking. Duties include analyzing and understanding financial impacts through detailed financial analysis and modeling, trending, budgeting, and cost management for key operational areas of the company. The Senior Analyst will conduct various ad hoc projects, which require understanding and analyzing financial impacts through detailed financial analysis and modeling.
Produce accurate and insightful financial analysis for required areas, by understanding cost management and the key drivers of profitability for areas of focus particularly revenue, churn, productivity, commissions, and strategic planning
Produce accurate and timely annual budgets and forecasts
Actively track and communicate budget variances to executive management, international counterparts, and internal customers
Partner with internal customers to drive profitability and identify financial issues
Effectively communicate within and across departmental lines to provide forum for insightful data and communication exchanges
Significant experience performing complex financial modeling
At least four years of corporate experience required in the areas of budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
Ability to independently extract key financial information from systems and prepare insightful financial reports and analyses
Detail-oriented with a strong ethic of self-review
In-depth experience and knowledge of MS Excel
Strong written and verbal communications skills
Ability to think independently and proactively drive improvements to processes
Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships
Ability to work and communicate effectively with senior management
Education or Equivalent Experience
- BS degree in Accounting or Finance required. MBA preferred
