Manager Inside Sales-GES

Location: Phoenix, AZ or Salt Lake City, UT

Job Overview:

The Manager Inside Sales-GES is responsible for all aspects of sales within the encompassing business product portfolio within Government/Education Sales. This position will report to the Area Director and will be the sales lead for a team of sales representatives.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the oversight of account executives selling the company’s products and/or services via telephone using knowledge of the full CenturyLink networking, cloud, hosting, and CPE portfolio.

  • Lead a team with Primary sales focus on upsell and revenue retention of existing Enterprise/Commercial Account base along with New Logo targeting

  • Coaches to a solution-based sales approach by identifying business needs and matching with strategic solution sets.

  • Coaches representatives to qualify leads, identify decision makers, determine customer needs, explain product/service variations, overcome customer objections and close sales.

  • Collaborates with support resources including engineers, order managers, and strategic product overlays to assist in opportunity development and order packaging/completion

  • Must have strong funnel management skills and analytical abilities related to KPI measurement through to revenue management

  • Hires & performance manages sales team and complete required sales documentation.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 3-4 Years Sales Experience (preferably in an inside sales environment in the business-to-business market)

  • Strong track record of leadership, mentoring, and participation in organization-wide initiatives

  • Strong client engagement focus.

  • Excellent communications (oral and written), organizational, negotiation, persuasion, planning and time management skills.

  • Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Must have a valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.

  • Successful completion of Sales Manager assessment.
