Job Description :

Position Overview:

  • Develops, maintains and manages international relationship with large, high profile Global customer from the operational to executive levels throughout the organization

  • Actively engages and coordinates with large, high profile Global customer and Sales teams, providing white glove support and ensuring superior service levels are maintained. Leads customer specific quality improvement plans as documented and identified in the Service Plan

  • Responsible for attainment of revenue objectives and service quality objectives relative to the customers international orders

  • Responsible for input to and execution of account plans while leading and managing the development of the Service Plan segment for the overall international Account Plan

  • Actively works and coordinates activities in support of sales, with numerous teams that support the provisioning, design, installation and billing of sales to this large global customer.

  • Interacts effectively as a team member to support achievement of sales objectives

  • Makes accurate and timely decisions based on customer needs and business requirements

  • Contributes to the attainment of revenue objectives by managing orders from the sales stage through to accurate billing and revenue recognition

  • Represents CenturyLink to multiple departments and levels within the Account, by understanding how CenturyLink‚Äôs products meet their goals

  • Highly technical to ensure fluid orders, installation and overall project management in support of customers

  • Knowledge of legacy and local service products including technical understanding of these services

  • Assess customer needs and desires and suggest solutions and alternatives; this may involve product offerings, or improved ways of conducting business between CenturyLink and the customer

  • Escalates proactively within interdependent departments to accomplish assigned responsibilities.

Qualifications & Skills:

Basic Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience supporting customers as it pertains to telecommunications products and services

  • Experience supporting a sales team and/or sales support team in the area of Telecommunications solutions to include facilitation of proposals, product offering, agreements, contract review and support, and managing customer priorities with company initiative

  • Intermediate proficiency with internal Service Assurance and Billing processes and systems

  • Working knowledge and application of CenturyLink (or Industry) network and strategic product set.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Strong interpersonal, communication, customer service, account relationship, time management, organizational and negotiating skills

  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment with others across different disciplines, functions and organizations and driving expedient resolution of customer issues.

  • Ability to develop long-term business relationships with key decision makers within organizations.

  • Ability to work closely with the customer and effectively negotiate directly with the customer and negotiate internally on their behalf.

  • The ability to travel to customer sites.

  • Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
