The Data Specialist is the critical administrative support for the local team. It is vital that this person work well in a team environment, possess excellent organizational and time management skills, and be able to work strategically under pressure situations.
Performs clerical duties of a routine nature that may include data entry, answering phones, word processing, record keeping, filing, making conference and travel arrangements, mail delivery, shipping and receiving materials.
Liaison between recruiting and training to provide hands-on support with hiring events, such as coordinating interviews and working with local leadership to ensure on site events are streamlined and run smoothly
Work closely with center manager to coordinate center activities, track employee files, and work with supervisors to ensure specific deadlines are met.
Operate various business machines.
Creates and maintains data bases, reports, spread sheets, forecasts, files, memos, and presentations utilizing various word processing and software programs.
Interfaces with internal and clients by answering questions solving problems and handling complaints.
May process bills, payments and handle a high volume of paperwork.
The position is fast paced and requires a high degree of speed, accuracy and the ability to multi-task.
May interface with vendors, contractors and suppliers to procure goods and services and resolve billing problems
Must have a working knowledge of Excel to include working in spreadsheets and creating formulas.
STRONG multi-tasking experience in a fast-paced environment is essential, must be able to complete tasks with speed, efficiency, and accuracy.
Experience having worked with team members and customers using verbal and written communication skills, such as memos, e-mail, and giving verbal directions.
Experience performing routine clerical duties such as typing, filing, recording, logging, preparing records, ordering supplies, answering telephones, sorting and delivering mail, making conference and travel arrangements, shipping and receiving material.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience maintaining databases, reports, spread sheets, and forecasts.
Basic working knowledge of personal computers, calculators, copy and fax machines and printers.
Other Job Requirements:
Face-to-face and telephone contact with employees and vendors.
Primarily performs work duties sitting at a work station utilizing a computer, telephone for extended periods of time.
May work closely with team members and supervisors or working independently with little supervision as required by the needs of the business.
Successful completion and passage of all applicable employment testing and interviews.
