Security Practice Lead is responsible for developing a suite of Security services relevant to their security discipline (e.g. Risk Assessment, Security Architecture, Identity & Access Management, etc.), build and lead a team of practitioners who will provide presales support and perform the delivery of consulting and professional services engagements. The practice lead will have responsibility for working with the sales channels to achieve target revenues for their practice area.
Strategic planning for the development and growth of their practice area.
Development of an annual Revenue Target (measured in tens or hundreds of millions of dollars) with associated resource requirements and costs
Tactical planning for the delivery of all technical/engineering resources to support pre and post sales efforts for client engagements in their practice areas on a national basis
Business development – Work with sales and account teams to identify new opportunities and execute plans to capture business to achieve Revenue targets for their respective service lines and practices
Define and develop practice offerings that incorporate the latest security technologies and best practices to ensure our clients receive the best possible security services and solutions from us
Work closely with marketing to create sales and marketing collateral that represents our value propositions and service offerings in the best possible light for our clients
Monitor, plan for and hire additional staff as needed
Plan, allocate and schedule the engineering resources required to successfully complete both pre and post sales security engagements
Assure that the details of all billable engagements are accurately tracked and communicated by staff to the Security Practice Lead, including status changes, updates, milestones and other significant events.
Management of large accounts
Deliver MSSP solutions
Develop threat intelligence platforms and gather processes along with threat notifications.
Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or a related IT field is required
Master’s degree desired. CISSP/CISM certification is a plus
Possesses 15 years of experience
May need Top Secret Security Clearance
