Job Summary

An Agile Coach is a key player in our Agile/DevSecOps Transformation and will provide thought leadership and guidance in support of Lean-Agile values and principles. Coaches will challenge status quo mindset by applying Lean-Agile practices enabling process optimization and value delivery. An Agile Coach will partner with and influence Business, Product and Technology leaders to build a thriving Lean-Agile organization at scale.

Job Description

  • Drive continuous evolution of Scaled Agile and Lean practices along with strategic initiatives aligned to an enterprise transformation roadmap.

  • Coach Value Streams, Agile Release Trains (ARTs), Teams, Leadership and individuals to improve Scaled Agile, Lean and DevSecOps practices for increased value delivery.

  • Observe, identify and introduce opportunities for improvement.

  • Support Program Increment (PI) Planning and associated events for 100+ attendees to ensure successful Program execution.

  • Develop and deliver SAFe/Scrum/Kanban/Lean and Agile engineering (DevOps) training for teams and targeted roles across the organization.

  • Act as a galvanizing force for implementing new ways of thinking and working while creating a culture focused on value delivery and continuous improvement.

  • Facilitate strong cross-organization communication channels focused on Scaled Agile, Lean and DevSecOps techniques using Communities of Practice (CoP), workshops and collaboration tools.

  • Passion for self-improvement in the mastery of Scaled Agile, Lean and DevSecOps practices while staying current with developing trends in the industry


  • Deep practical experience with Scaled Agile and Agile Methodologies including Scrum, Kanban and Scaled Agile Frameworks

  • Demonstrated ability to guide others through the transition from a traditional delivery mindset to a Lean-Agile mindset

  • 4-6 Years coaching distributed teams at scale

  • 4-6 Years in a Technology organization

  • SAFe Certification (SPC/SAFe Agilist)

  • Formal Agile training experience in a classroom setting


  • Experience using Agile work management tools such as Jira or CA Agile Central

  • Development Experience

  • Design Thinking
