Job Summary

CentuyLink has an immediate need for a Lead Recruiter at our corporate office in Broomfield, CO. The Lead Recruiter will be responsible for attracting and hiring qualified professionals for the Corporate Finance Organization, while establishing and maintaining strong relationships with multiple assigned vice president groups as a strategic adviser, consultant and talent acquisition SME.

Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage the recruiting process through sourcing, screening, and selection. Responsible and accountable for filling positions

• Provide resolutions to a diverse range of complex problems as it relates to strategic staffing.

• Conduct external recruitment activities to include proactive sourcing techniques (i.e. networking, cold calling, internet data mining, etc.).

• Leverage the internet, social and professional networking sites to identify and source candidates and create contacts within the industry.

• Learn and understand cleared professional job market. Attend hiring events/job fairs as necessary.

• Maintain positive partnerships with clients and internal colleagues. Ensure staffing processes are being followed: collect all necessary documentation from hiring managers to ensure corporate and government compliance, review and maintain documentation to assure legal and departmental compliance.

• Ensure effective interviewing techniques are being utilized by hiring managers.

• Perform under very limited supervision.

• Partner with others on cross-functional teams.

• Facilitate pre-hire testing/assessments as necessary.


Bachelor's degree field or equivalent education and relevant experience.

• Minimum 6 years of full life cycle of talent acquisition experience (senior level talent across disciplines (IT, Sales – unique competencies)

• Strong knowledge of HRIS and ATS systems

• Proven ability to consult, influence and interact with all levels of the organization while establishing and maintaining collaborative partnerships

• Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills

• Proven skills of web-based sourcing and recruiting tools, not limited to paid tools and Boolean logic

• Ability to provide value-adding recruiting-related advice to hiring managers and influence talent decisions

• Knowledge of the labor market(s) in which the recruiter recruits

• Using the right channels and messages to find targeted sources and high-quality candidates

• Ability to leverage social media to locate, engage, and attract prospective candidates

• Demonstrated experience with work prioritization and process improvement skills

• Ability to provide value-adding recruiting-related advice to hiring managers and influence talent decisions

• Experience with recruiting applicant tracking systems / databases (Taleo, SuccessFactors, Salesforce Ceridian, etc.) required

• Experience with HRIS (ie: Oracle, SAP, etc.) systems strongly preferred
