In this role you will lead the overall app experience, gather requirements from stakeholders and our technical partners, define user stories and work with development teams across CenturyLink to ensure that the platform delivers intuitive, seemless user experiences. The role is cross-functional and you will work closely with several talented teams of software engineers, product managers, testers and designers, as well as internal stakeholders and leaders. You need to be strategic and see the big picture, while still having passion for working through the technical challenges with the engineers to help them make the right choices.
Gather requirements and take ownership of the product roadmap for the CenturyLink app
Developing multi-factor use case scenarios, and delivering stories that accomodate potential account states and personalization rules
Contribute to the overall product vision and key customer journeys for CenturyLink app, including both support and sales experiences
Drive execution and strategic focus for the app platform working with colleagues from UX, business, marketing, brand, support and more
Interact with 3rd party product, business and technology counterparts; develop productive relationships to ensure the app platform facilitates easy and engaging integration
Do continuous market and consumer research, including competitive and feedback analyses to understand what customers want
Participate in product ideation and brainstorming sessions with many different branches of the company to cover the needs of early life, repair, contact options and account management
Support new product and process rollouts
Write user stories, requirements, collaborate with the UX teams, prioritize backlog of features, and negotiate delivery planning
Define, measure, and optimize our features to ensure our customers feel valued and cared for
Ensure transparency by keeping teams, colleagues and executives informed on progress, issues and plans and get their input for constant improvement
Proactively identify and resolve issues that may stop us from meeting our goals and delivery commitments
Consulting Level Bachelor's degree.
8+ years of experience with a Bachelor’s degree or 6+ years of experience with a Master's Degree.
8+ years of digital product management experience
A passion for crafting great digital experiences
Experience defining and supporting product strategy and product planning
Ability to research, understand and discuss technical concepts and ideas with delivery teams
Ability to conceptualize full-stack technologies and troubleshoot errors manifested on the app
Work well with multiple stakeholders and technical partners on agile teams
Able to proactively juggle multiple tasks, meetings and priorities while staying laser focused on your fundamental goal of serving customers
Experience in building intuitive and engaging user experiences
Strong analytical and date driven decision-making skills to drive execution
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to communicate with stakeholders
Ability to work with remote teams
Project management experience a plus
