The Senior Analyst, Government Operations is responsible for ensuring compliance within CenturyLink’s E-rate & Rural Health Care Programs. This role serves as one of the company's subject matter experts and point of contact for the FCC's Rural HealthCare and Schools and Libraries funding programs.
The Main Responsibilities
Assist with contract proposal and implementation to ensure full program compliance.
Work with sales and other internal departments to ensure we maximize our opportunities within the programs while staying compliant with the rules.
Prepare and present internal training materials used by sales and other internal stakeholders.
Assist with hosting weekly E-Rate calls with Sales
Investigate and assist when compliance issues for specific opportunities are discovered.
Track and report on key program facts, competitive information, and various metrics.
Participate in advocating CenturyLink’s position to the FCC and USAC as program rules change or need clarification.
Assist internal and external customers in understanding the complex forms and filings such that requests for funding is seamlessly executed.
Review customer orders for compliance.
Review and certify customer USAC funding invoices for payment.
What We Look For in a Candidate
Knowledge of E-Rate School and Libraries Program.
Knowledge of the Rural Healthcare Programs, both the Healthcare Connect Fund and the Telecommunications Program
Knowledge of CenturyLink’s Products and Services
Knowledge of CenturyLink’s billing systems
Strong analytical & communication skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Internally driven, able to work without significant oversight and able to lead projects from start to finish
Ability to coach team members with varying levels of experience
Motivated to identify and develop solutions
