Lead in the team effort to design, develop, code, test and debug new complex software or significant enhancements to existing complex software. Lead review of input for documentation of new or existing software. Apply existing and introduce new and approved technologies to develop solutions. Lead others in the application of principles, theories and concepts and use of methodologies, tools, documentation processes and test procedures to complete projects. May lead team to select and manage vendor.
Works with the Technical Director, Technical Architect, App/Web Developer, Database Administrator, System Administrator, Project Management, Account Management and Creative to create best-in-class websites and applications, completing all requirements and meeting usability expectations
Develops and/or maintains a sustainable front-end framework and coordinates with other team members
Partners with Technology personnel to develop creative marketing technology solutions in support of meeting client expectations
Estimates timeline for assigned projects and ensures that work is completed with the estimate given
Provides leadership in the development and implementation of short- and long-term technology plans and related policies and procedures
Takes a lead role in establishing and implementing standards that will facilitate a quality IT infrastructure all clients
May translate business requirements into specific designs and/or participate in the design, evaluation and selection of IT solutions for software for a specific business process.
Own, develop and maintain Java Web Applications, end to end.
Responsible for development, production deployment and maintenance
Liaison with the users to fix production tickets or escalations
Liaison with business users to get requirements for new development
Actively participate in Scrum calls
Suggest changes in design and architecture when needed
Fix development bugs for the applications
Work with Vendors and geographically diverse team across multiple time zones
Full stack developer with 9+ years professional experience with a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education and experience.
2-3 years with a Master's Degree.
Expertise in Core Java and JEE Web App development (JSP/Servlets)
In depth knowledge of at least 1 Web App Framework (preferably Struts)
Should know to write complex SQL queries
Experience in Unix/Linux and Shell Scripting
Experience on other J2EE skills - XML, Maven, Jenkins, Web Services, Ajax, EJB, etc.
Good debugging skills and working knowledge on IDE such as Eclipse or IntelliJ
Knowledge of application web servers like - Tomcat, JBoss, Weblogic, etc.
Excellent communication skills
