Sr. Lead Product Strategy Manager will be responsible for assessing, developing, and assisting in setting the strategic product direction for CenturyLink.
Drive Product Strategy through data -driven thought leadership; market feedback and deep partnership with different stakeholders in the organization and key customer.
Build and operationalize go-to-market strategies and Proof of Concepts to support strategic goals aligning stakeholders across various team
Use Lean startup methodology to vet out best opportunities that can impact revenue growth. Lean startup methodology : lean canvas, agile development and customer development
Identify new opportunities for CenturyLink’s product portfolio (macro trends, customer needs, segment analysis, opportunity sizing, competitive analysis, etc.)
Responsible for communication and Evangelism for new innovations, strategies and incubation process (Corporate spokesperson, sales support expert, lead junior product managers and other cross functional contributors etc).
This role will be responsible for the future growth and adoption of new technologies, products, services, and other areas of innovation. These products and strategies will be the gage for CenturyLink's ability to stay relevant and innovative. If this is role isn't successful we will miss out on future revenue and market share growth. We will also be late to market and miss our chance to evolve customer's perception of CenturyLink as a technology company with innovative solutions and customer focus.
15 + yrs of experience with Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and relevant experience, preferably in marketing, technology or product. Relevant work experience within a research and development department is beneficial. Creativity is one of the most essential skills for a product innovation strategist. Strong understanding of customer needs. Strong interpersonal skills in order to collaborate with various leaders across the company and stakeholders. Excellent analytic abilities to utilize market trends and customer data in the development of new products.
Preferred Qualifications :
Experience with a deadline driven environment, requiring minimum supervision. Ability to complex ideas in a clear, considerate manner both verbally and written. Ability to communicate, influence and negotiate with senior leaders. Considered an expert in product/service development and launch. Must possess a variety of competencies including proven ability in leading cross-functional teams, project management and follow-through and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
