The National Network Manager must be able to communicate and model the CenturyLink vision and culture. Inspire and motive team to continual improvement and maximum performance. Position will require candidate to be an active contributor interacting daily with Planning and Project Management Teams, as well as CenturyLink management teams; involved in day-to-day workflow through management of order progression and escalations. This position will be supervising and managing the day to day operations of the Facility Cost Savings Coordination Team.
Lead Field Operations Support / National Support team to include budget planning and management; project planning, implementation and management; development of staff policies/processes; and driving change management initiatives to ensure successful project implementation.
Act as National Field Operations liaison for all system conversion activity, process improvement initiatives, vendor support and change management activity.
Manage National Field Operations support for LCAM system, and manage vendor certification for National suppliers
Support National Field Operations in Sparing; in the delivery and maintenance of the technician force-to-load model; in all activities to protect network assets and reliability.
Drive reduction in human error outages
Actively engage with external customers either in person or via phone while representing the office of the Sales & Marketing President
Manage reporting for National Field Operations to include establishing monthly metric targets, tracking and accountability reviews.
Manage the maintenance and delivery of National Networks Efficiency scorecard.
Associate degree in Engineering, Electronics, Networks or related technical or vocational education or equivalent experience.
Working knowledge of switched and dedicated telecom functionality.
Proven ability to work in unison with staff, management and upper management.
IT Security experience is a must
Desired Skills: 5 plus years of supervisory experience in telecom provisioning . Proven ability to work in a dynamic environment with ever changing requirements and ability to adapt quickly to those changes. Associate degree in a related field or equivalent work experience. Typically 5 years of relevant experience. Desired system requirements are (but not limited to) CORE, LIMS, TIRKS, eFLOW, COASTAL
